Description
GIB’SEA are solid performance cruising boats well designed for long distance blue water sailing. Built by Gilbert Marine of France and designed by Joubert-Nivelt.
INVICTUS is equally at home as a very comfortable liveaboard or roaring across the world's oceans. She already has several circumnavigations under her belt and is roaring for more.
Sloop rigged with all lines to the cockpit for the adventurous solo sailor or comfort under way for the family. Her very large and roomy cockpit is perfect for entertaining guests or just living comfortably.
Down below the spacious interior layout flows gracefully from salon to the roomy galley and on into the forward pullman berth with its on in suite full head. The two large aft cabins boast full beds each with a sink for freshening up on those long cruises. A comfortable and well-appointed navigation station is situated so that information is easily passed to the helm.
Invictus is equipped with a large L-shaped galley to starboard of the companionway and open to the salon. There is plenty of counter space for entertaining and preparing food. Starting inboard there is a generous wide counter, with voluminous storage beneath, including up to three wire baskets for stores. Moving further outboard is a double sink with additional storage underneath. Equipped with a gimbaled FORCE 10 3 burner stove and oven. Forward of the stove there is a large icebox. Finally aft of the stove is an additional counter surface and the top-opening refrigerator. Above the stove and icebox are two double door cabinets.

Based out of Marathon in the Heart of the Florida Keys, Daryl has been sailing all types of boats since he was 6. Yes, that was 51 years ago. He has seen a lot and done a lot. He enjoys sailing, fishing and snorkeling. A pure for love for boats and all things boating, Daryl will bring tremendous amounts of energy and dedication to providing you with the top-notch boat buying or selling that you deserve. He has 4 beautiful granddaughters that he loves with all his might and simply cannot wait for them to get a little bigger so they can all go sailing together. Fun fact - Darylâs dad, although an excellent captain, was not the best navigator and taught Daryl very early on how to navigate. Right before Daryl took over the duties completely, they were motoring down a narrow canal in south Louisiana with nice houses on both sides. All was going great until all of a sudden, the bow began to rise and rise until it came back down with a mighty splash. Dad had not read his 20-year-old chart (eons before electronic ones) and BAMM they had knocked out the power to dozens or more of expensive homes with families out having their Sunday BBQâs. Well, they never blinkedâthey just turned and ran as fast as the little two cylinder would run.
