Walkthrough
Climb aboard and go to the bow. A new Maxwell RC-10 windlass was installed in 2022 with 150 feet of new 3/8" BBB chain and 150' of 5/8" rode. Convenient up and down foot switches along with the switch at the helm. Just to port of the new windlass is the connection point for the salt water washdown. At the end of the anchor chain is a Rocna Vulcan 44lb anchor on a swivel.
Heading to the stern on either port or starboard side, you will find a stainless-steel tube top lifeline that replaced the wire. New teak dorade boxes and stainless steel dorades assist in air circulation below deck.
At the stern of the boat, you will see the custom-built davit system that also supports the frame for the 800 watts of solar panels. Swim ladder is centered in the custom aft railing. There is a reconditioned in 2020 Magma Newport grill mounted on the port side railing just ahead of the stern, next to the Lifesling MOB throw. The Westinghouse portable generator is mounted on a platform attached to the railing. All 11 portals were completely rebuilt in 2021 and all hatches have had the acrylic replaced as well.
Enter the cockpit through one of the zip-down Isinglass panels in the full enclosure. Take a seat on the custom seat cushions or sit at the helm in this roomy cockpit. The helm has all new (within the last 2 years) electronics. The offset pedestal guard was installed in 2018 along with the Navpods that hold the electronics. The chartplotter is also attached to a Garmin GSX51 Sirius XM antenna. Six battery operated lights overhead make entertaining at night a pleasant experience. Cockpit speakers are at the base of the pedestal and volume is adjustable from below at the stereo.
Climb down through the companionway doors and you will be looking at the roomy saloon with a large double drop leaf table that will sit 6 on opposing settees. Under the starboard settee is a 60-gallon water tank. A 100-gallon water tank is centered under the floor and molded into the hull. Just aft of the water tank is the molded in 80-gallon fuel tank. Forward of the mast between the settee is a custom-built storage chest with lift off top. Under the port settee you will find both ac compressors and the compressors for the refrigerator and freezer. Behind the back cushions is the Spectra Ventura water maker and lots of storage for tools and miscellaneous parts. There is a matching storage area behind the opposing seatback.
Moving forward from the saloon just to port is the forward guest head with doors from the settee and the forward vee-berth. Raritan Sea-Era freshwater toilet, sink with pull out shower head and large medicine cabinet complete the head. Forward berth has plenty of closet space and three drawers for the small stuff.
Aft of the saloon there is a walkway to the Captains Quarters. Centered you will find a door that leads to the engine room. Opposing the engine room door are 3 large hanging lockers with plenty of storage for all your necessities. Enter the Captains Quarters with 6'-3" head room and see the split double berth. Lots of closet space and ensuite full head with Raritan Elegante electric freshwater toilet and stand-alone shower. This room is definitely easy living on the Captain and the Admiral!
Moving forward again, just as you enter the salon, to port is the spacious and well-appointed U-shaped galley. Double stainless-steel sink with special filtered drinking water, 3-burner Shipmate propane stove top and oven with solenoid switch. The Galanz microwave is also a convection oven and air fryer and new in 2022. Lots of cabinet space for everything. The top load refrigerator and freezer is approximately 12 cubic feet and will hold lots of food (and actually keeps ice cream frozen). The Vitrifrigo 12-volt system was installed in 2107. The chef of the family will love this space.

Marcy was born in upstate New York, then moved to Jacksonville, FL, where she fell in love with the beach and beach lifeâ¦until Jaws came out and she saw it at the drive-in with her parents. Her childhood took her back the upstate New York, where she grew up a âLake Girlâ boating aboard a 1977 family-owned Bayliner Liberty on Seneca Lake. Summers were spent on Devilâs Lake, in the Frontenac Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. Her experience then revolved around power boats and canoes, and she was always on the water enjoying the fresh air, exploring, fishing, swimming and basking in the camaraderie that comes with making friends on the water. While gathering drinking water and provisions in Westport, Ontario, on these summer trips, she was always fascinated with the cruisers that were docked on Upper Rideau Lake. Seeing the names and ports of call was always the highlight of these visits to town. Marcy has the sea in her veins, and naturally evolved to enjoy sailing on bluewater cruising boats as an adult. Â
Marcy holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of New York and an MS in Business Management from Northern Illinois University. She worked for 15 years as a Business Engineering Manager for UPS, and 11 years in Finance & Operations in public administration, while raising her two daughters just outside of Chicago. In 2020, Marcy answered the call of the sea and travelled to Florida to be one of the three founders of Sunshine Cruising Yachtsâan adventure that has reconnected her with the outdoors and given her a new love and appreciation for the sea and the people who travel it.Â
She earned the title of âTop Salespersonâ for SCY for four years in a row, and continues to be a team leader and integral part of the crew.Â
She covers all parts of the globe, specializing in Florida, Puerto Rico, & the Caribbean.
Both of her girls have now graduated college, and are excited to visit their mom in Florida and beyond.Â
