Yacht Sales

Troy is a native Texan and has lived in the Houston area most of his life where he is married with 3 teenage daughters. Since childhood, Troy always had a love for the water, and discovered sailing while in the military stationed in Maryland where he taught himself how to sail on the Chesapeake Bay. Troy studied Computer Science at Abilene Christian University and later attended Houston Community College for paramedic medicine. After the military Troy worked as a paramedic, firefighter, and worked in law enforcement. He spent 7 years as a State Trooper in Wyoming before retiring from law enforcement and traveling the entire country with his family in an 45' motor coach before settling back down in Texas.

Troy is an instrument rated pilot and flew a Piper Turbo Saratoga (6 seater) until they decided to trade the plane for a larger boat. Troy moved from small power boats to his first sailboat, a Hunter 340 and his whole family fell in love with sailing. Troy and his middle daughter Hannah race on Galveston Bay. After years of spending almost every weekend and a few weeks a year on their 34' boat, they upgraded to a 45' sailboat (H450 Passage).

After retirement from law enforcement Troy started Cypress RV Center, one of the fastest growing RV dealers in Houston. Troy found transitioning from selling RVs to selling boats easy, and his passion is helping clients discover what they want and need in a boat. For sellers, Troy is not your average yacht salesman who is going to stick a sign on and wait for calls - he works hard for you with suggestions from his many years of sales experience of what gets a buyer's attention and knows how to market and show your yacht for a quick sale. Troy likes to be hands-on and never stops until his client's needs are met.
